On October 29, 2021, in the Ceremonial Hall of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, the doctoral dissertation on the topic “Yugoslav Defense Policy 1945-1958: Ideas and Practice” was defended by Marko Miletić, an associate of the Institute.

The researcher of the Institute, Danilo Šarenac, as a guest of the French organization Fondation maison des sciences de l’homme, is staying in Paris for six weeks.

The promotion of the book “Žena u okupiranoj Srbiji 1941‒1944” by the associate of the Institute of Contemporary History, Dr. Ljubinka Škodrić, was held in the Ceremonial Hall of the City Administration of the City of Kraljevo on Monday, October 11, 2021.
September 24, 2021: An exhibition by Bojan Dimitrijević, an associate of the Institute, was opened in the hall of the National Assembly
On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Agreement on Military Assistance between the USA and Yugoslavia, an exhibition of photographs about the time when the then armed forces were equipped with American planes, tanks, cannons, vehicles and other weapons was opened on September 24 in the hall of the Serbian National Assembly.
September 16-17, 2021: The eighth conference on Yugoslav-Polish relations organized in Belgrade
Organized by the Institute of Contemporary History and the University of Casimir the Great (Bydgoszcz, Poland), the eighth conference on Yugoslav-Polish relations in the 20th century was held in Belgrade on September 16 and 17.
