The Institute for Contemporary History is a scientific institute established in accordance with Articles 43-45.
of the Law on Science and Research, which has the Board of Directors, the Director and the Scientific Council.

By decision of the Government of the Republic of Serbia 24 no. 119-1774/2023 of March 16, 2023, the following were appointed to the Management Board of the Institute for Contemporary History for a term of 4 years:

By decision of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Contemporary History no. 87/3 of April 28, 2023. year prof. Dr. Predrag Marković was appointed director of the Institute for Contemporary History for a mandate period of 4 years.

Scientific council
In accordance with Article 23 of the Statute of the Institute of Contemporary History, the ISI Scientific Council has 30 members who are researchers in scientific titles.
28.05.2025. In 2010, the Scientific Council was elected and the president of the Scientific Council and the deputy president were appointed for a mandate period of 4 years.
