December 12-13, 2019: Promotion of the Institute held and cooperation agreement signed with the University of Banja Luka

On December 9, 2019, a research assistant at the Institute of Contemporary History, Rade Ristanović, defended a doctoral dissertation on “Forms of Resistance in Belgrade (1941-1944)” in the hall of the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad.

Professor Predrag Marković, director of the Institute for Contemporary History, visited Boston (November 20-23, 2019) at the invitation of Harvard University.
November 7, 2019: Agreement on Scientific and Research Cooperation signed with Croatian Institute for History
During a research in Zagreb, on November 7th, a delegation of the Institute visited the Croatian Institute for History. On that occasion, the deputy director of the Institute, dr. Bojan Dimitrijević, signed the Agreement on Scientific and Research Cooperation with the director of the Croatian Institute for History dr. sc. Gordan Ravančić.
October 31, 2019: Protocol on Scientific Cooperation Signed with Faculty of Philosophy, University of Niš
On October 31st, in Niš, the Protocol on Scientific Cooperation with the Faculty of Philosophy was signed. The protocol was signed by the dean prof. dr. Natalija Jovanovic, Head of History Department prof. Dr. Irena Ljubomirović and Deputy Director of the Institute Dr. Bojan Dimitrijevic.
October 10, 2019: Protocol on Scientific Cooperation Signed with Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad
On October 10, in the Novi Sad, Director of the Institute, prof. dr. Predrag J. Marković, Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy prof. Dr. Ivana Živančević Sekeruš and Head of the Department of History at the Faculty of Philosophy prof. Dr. Ivan Jordović signed the Protocol on scientific cooperation.
October 3, 2019: Lectures in the Reading Room of the Belgrade City Library in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Belgrade
On October 3rd, as part of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Poland and Serbia, lectures from Polish historians, associates of the Institute of History of the University of Pedagogical University in Krakow, were held in the reading room of the Belgrade City Library.
