On December 17, associate of the Institute Nikola Mijatov defended his doctoral dissertation and earned the title of Doctor of History. The defense of the dissertation entitled “Sport in the Service of Socialism: The Yugoslav Experience 1945-1953” was held in the hall of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, before a committee composed of: Academician Ljubodrag Dimić, prof. Mira Radojević, Prof. dr Predrag J. Marković, dr Dragomir Bondžić and Prof. dr Aleksandar Životić (thesis mentor).
