October 3, 2019: Lectures in the Reading Room of the Belgrade City Library in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Belgrade

On October 3rd, as part of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Poland and Serbia, lectures from Polish historians, associates of the Institute of History of the University of Pedagogical University in Krakow, were held in the reading room of the Belgrade City Library. First lecturer was prof. dr hab. Hubert Hugio with a lecture "Serbia in the Balkan Politics of the Hotel Lambert in the 1840s". After him, a lecture entitled "Vaclav Babinjski - Minister-Advisor and Member of the Republic of Poland in Belgrade (1929-1931)" was delivered by Alicia Smigielska, MA. Visitors to the lectures could also see the exhibition "Restoration of the Polish Diplomatic Service 1917-1921", which was on display in the reading room.
