August 25, 2021: Agreement signed with the Republic Center for War Research in Banja Luka

An agreement on cooperation between the Institute of Contemporary History and the Republic Center for Research of War, War Crimes and Search for Missing Persons from Banja Luka was signed in Belgrade on August 25. The agreement was signed by the director of the Center, Milorad Kojić, and the deputy director of the Institute, Bojan Dimitrijević. Both institutions have already established cooperation through personal contacts and individual research, such as the monograph on the 2nd Krajina Corps of the Army of the Republika Srpska. The signing of this agreement opens the possibility for institutionalized and far more efficient work of the two institutions. Kojic and Dimitrijevic agreed on the next steps of cooperation for 2022, where the focus will be on joint work on projects - publications that will deal with the Patriotic War of the Serbian people 1992-1995, the history of Republika Srpska and work on identifying JNA victims from 1992. Both Kojic and Dimitrijevic expressed great satisfaction with the strengthening of cooperation between the two institutions and future joint projects that will give an additional and complex view of the history of the Serbian people during the wars of the 1990s.
