August 30, 2021: Associate of the Institute Ljubinka Škodrić participated in the organization of an exhibition at the University of Vienna

Dr. Ljubinka Škodrić, senior research associate at the Institute of Contemporary History, together with Dr. Natasa Milićević, research associate at the Institute of Recent History of Serbia, participated, as part of the author team, in the preparation of the exhibition "Stories of Work and Coercion: Scientific Contributions Depicted in Illustrations". The exhibition was opened on August 30, 2021 on the occasion of the conference "Historicizing the Concept of Europe in Global History" organized by the European Labor History Network (ELHN) and the COST project - Worlds of Related Coercions in Work (WORCK). The exhibition is scheduled to open for the next six months at the University of Vienna, and then be presented elsewhere. The exhibition was created as a result of cooperation between scientists and artists. The documentary material on the basis of which the scientific research was created served the selected artists for the production of exhibition panels on selected topics. One of the topics was "Between wage labor and coercion: The case of civil servants in occupied Serbia, 1941-1944". Previously, Dr. Ljubinka Škodrić and Dr. Nataša Milićević presented their results on this research at the conference "Reconceptualizing Wage Labor From a Long-Term and Transregional Perspective", which was held in September 2020 in Budapest, organized by the COST project - Worlds of Related Coercions in Work.
