September 3, 2021: Dr. Danijel Kežić held a lecture at the institute

Within the realization of the program of bilateral scientific cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Federal Republic of Germany, where the Institute of Contemporary History cooperates with the Institute for Studies of Eastern and Southeastern Europe from Regensburg on the project "Resilient Infrastructures. Examination of continuity during the Yugoslav twentieth century ", ISI was visited by the head of the German project team, Dr. Danijel Kežić, where he met with the management and project team of the Institute. On Friday, September 3, he presented his research on the topic "Railways and the construction of national spaces in Southeast Europe 1918-1941", and in the Library of the City of Belgrade on Monday, September 6 at 7 pm he will hold a public lecture on "On a dead end of brotherhood and unity. Railways as a factor of disintegration of Yugoslavia ".
