Organized by the Institute of Contemporary History and the University of Casimir the Great (Bydgoszcz, Poland), the eighth conference on Yugoslav-Polish relations in the 20th century was held in Belgrade on September 16 and 17. Twenty-nine papers were presented at the conference. In addition to domestic participants, historians from Poland (Bydgoszcz, Lodz, Gdansk, Poznan, Torun), as well as from the region (Ljubljana, Sarajevo) participated. The conference was opened by dr. hab. Marek Zielinski, Dean of the Faculty of History, Casimir the Great University of Bydgoszcz, prof. dr. Predrag J. Marković, director of the Institute, dr. Bojan Dimitrijević, deputy director of the Institute and Rafal Perl, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Belgrade. The mutual past was elaborated on several thematic and chronological levels. All participants expressed satisfaction with the successful organization and the desire to continue cooperation.
