On November 30, 2022, in the Ceremonial Hall of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, the doctoral dissertation on the topic “Yugoslavia and Bulgaria 1941-1945: between conflict and alliance” was defended by Institute associate Boris Tomanić. The defense commission included: academician Ljubodrag Dimić, prof. Dr. Mira Radojević from the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, Dr. Bojan Dimitrijević from the Institute for Contemporary History, Dr. Petar Dragišić from the Institute for Recent History of Serbia, as well as Dr. Milan Terzić, director of the Archives of Yugoslavia. The mentor for the dissertation was prof. Dr. Aleksandar Životić.
