On Monday, March 14, in the Old Palace (ceremonial hall of the Belgrade City Assembly), the book by Dr. Nemanja Devic “For the Party and Tito, the Partisan Movement in Serbia 1941-1944” was presented by the Official Gazette and the Institute of Contemporary History. The manuscript of this monograph, with a volume of close to 1,000 pages, is an extended version of Nemanja Dević’s doctoral dissertation, based on a critical evaluation of the rich literature and primary material on the partisan movement. At the presentation of the book, in addition to the author, each from his own scientific perspective, Dr. Kosta Nikolić, Dr. Bojan Dimitrijević and Borisav Čeliković spoke. The event hosted by the Mayor of Belgrade, Dr. Zoran Radojicic, caused great public attention, and announced a new conversation about the book in the small hall of the Kolarac Endowment, on Wednesday, March 23, starting at 7.30 pm.
