The anniversary of the founding of the Institute of Contemporary History has traditionally been celebrated. Since January 31 was a Sunday, Institute Day was marked on Wednesday, February 3. The celebration was attended by associates of the Institute with several guests from other scientific and public institutions. After the Scientific Council of the Institute was held, at which the president and deputy president were elected for a new four-year mandate, a solemn part followed. After the introductory words of the director prof. Dr. Predrag J. Marković and Deputy Director Dr. Bojan B. Dimitrijević, the award “Dr Ljubomir Ljuba Petrović” was awarded for the best master’s thesis in 2020 at the Department of History of Yugoslavia at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. The award was given to Tamara Kosijer, for her master’s thesis entitled “Association of University Educated Women 1927-1941”. At the end of the ceremonial part, Dr. Goran Miloradović was awarded a jubilee award for twenty years of work at the Institute.
