Principal Research Fellow Dr. Nikola Žutić retired August 14, 2019. After a regular Scholarly Council meeting in front of the Institute’s associates and friends of Žutić, Institute Director Predrag Marković wished his colleague Žutić a long retirement, evoking a series of anecdotes from his scientific and work career. He has spent almost a quarter of a century at the Institute for Contemporary History, and has published almost all of his most significant research papers during his time at the Institute. With a recognizable scientific style and personal charm, Žutić draws attention to his scientific views not only in the Serbian scientific community but also in the area of the former Yugoslavia. We are sure that our colleague Nikola Žutić will continue his fruitful research work in retirement.
